I think the OP was meaning that his relationship with Soon-Yi was the start of the problems in Woody's career/reputation. Just like Yoko's relationship with John was at the same time as the Beatles splitting up so she gets the blame for it.
Difference is Yoko was a grown ass woman who John didn't watch up grow up while going out with her mother.
