He's not as attractive as her, but he's hardly ugly and they seem to be very happy - which usually means he treats her well and that's all she needs to see in him and have a great marriage.

I was surprise to see she had jungle fever - such a Merredith Grey thing to do, be with a black man just like her TV mother, Ellis Grey (smile) and adopting a black African child w/her husband, Derek on the show.

I'm certain that their 2 bi-racial daughters will grow up to be far from ugly - with the Black, Irish, Italian & English ancestry - you can't get anymore American and beautiful than that ...
