Absolutely terrifying in Breaking Bad

He comes off so awkward yet sincere and he murders without hesitation. Last night's episode just showed that.

So true.

Not many people seem to be giving him props for his amazing work as Tod.

He has helped create a truly memorable and strange character. Never seen anything like it. Terrifying.

reply

Brilliant character and yes so terrifying. It's the way he can be so calm and polite one minute then suddenly he's shooting that same person in the head without emotion, fantastic.

His portrayal of a true psychopath is magnificent and chilling and truly scary. By far the most terrifying character in BB.

reply

Yeah, he really surprised me in the last few episodes. A fascinating, unsettling and intensely hateable character.

reply

Yea a true psychopath freeak like you could meet in real life.

I think he's the evilest character of the whole show. He doesn't have a conscience. Even the ruthless drug dealers through the show had some sort of human qualities but not this guy.

This is not a signature!

It's that creepy combination of sincere, boy scout manners and a willingness to kill, instantly and without emotion. Todd is like nothing I've seen before on television.

I am 44 years old, and it has been a very long time since I've seen a character on television who scared me, and Todd did that very well. What I found unsettling about him was that he seemed to lack some ... comprehension, maybe, about why what he was doing was wrong. I know that he was a sociopath, but he was more than that, and less at the same time. When he killed the little boy who saw the train robbery, he did so as if he was doing the right thing. He actually did not seem to understand the horrific weight of his actions.

I also was unsettled by the fact that Todd was unpredictable. Since his behavior was not curtailed by morality or emotion, and because he came across as a child in ways, there were no limits to what he would do. I hope he is recognized for this work!

The gene pool could use a little chlorine......
