Post-FNL : Damn ...

So let me get this straight : after he wrapped his four-season arc on little-seen cult-classic Friday Night Lights in which he played the sidekick of the third lead, he went on to star in three of the most acclaimed television projects of recent years (Breaking Bad, Fargo, Olive Kitteridge), and on the feature side worked with directors like Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master), Tommy Lee Jones (The Homesman), Scott Cooper (Black Mass), Stephen Frears (The Program), Doug Liman (Mena) and highly acclaimed actors and superstars like Johnny Depp (Black Mass) and Tom Cruise (Mena). At this point, I think it is safe to say he really was the hidden treasure of Friday Night Lights...and after seeing the just-released trailer of The Program in which he plays disgraced, controversial real-life cyclist Floyd Landis, I wouldn't even be that surprised if he got some serious Oscar-talk in the supporting actor category this year, as well. Well-done, you !

Agreed. Taylor Kitsch had lead roles in John Carter and Battleship which flopped and it def hurt his career. Jesse seems to be doing real well. Developing into a solid character actor.

It's good to see his success. Taylor Kitsch was given too much, too soon. He was so outstanding in FNL, I hope he can come back after the disasters he's appeared in. I thought True Detective would be a perfect comeback for him, but that turned out horribly too.

Good for Jesse Plemons anyway.

He is doing great. Fantastic in Fargo this season and had a pretty good accent in Black Mass. I look forward to Mena with Tom Cruise and other riding star Domhnall Gleeson. They are both killing it.
