Rose has the honour of being the first Doctor Who companion who remains annoying even after leaving the programme. Even Adric couldn't manage that.

Well, he kinda does.

In Catherine Tate's last episode, a second body is regenerated from the hand that was cut off during Tennant's first episode. Because this came about when Donna (Tate's character) touched the hand, the new body is not a full time lord but a hybrid. It has one heart, and will not regenerate. At the end of the episode the second doctor stays in the alternate universe with Rose, and presumably they are a couple.
