shareSure he was a unabashed child rapist/kidnaper but he had the privilege of being white & a famous guitarist in a rock group that was hugely popular at the time. Banging underage girls was an open secret in Rock N Roll, at least as early as Elvis & Jerry Lee Lewis in the 50s. By the 70s it was pretty much out in the open with all of these Rock N Roll "legends".
shareUnless he's done something recently that I havent heard about, the question should be : "Why wasn't he jailed decades ago?".
He undoubtedly committed endless statutory rape and drug crimes when he was younger, if not worse, but unless he killed someone the statutes of limitations were probably up decades ago. But if nobody wanted to prosecute him for his crime spree back in the day, it's too late now.
