Fantastic Actor but Incredibly Underrated

I've loved everything I've seen him in with exception of the King Arthur film. That being said I think he is in his best light in mentor/father type roles. I wish he was in a lot more but he either seems to be really picky with his work or not offered the best roles. For example the confirmation he was great in but it was by no means an A list film it was more of a B or C grade film.

I'm hoping his hay day comes back and he gets some really good roles again soon.

I agree with you 100%! I've been a fan since Clive appeared in Closer and always thought he was/is an underrated Actor!!!

Without reading your post I literally said the same thing, what a wasted prime. Maybe it was his choice

I've been a big fan of his since I saw him in King Arthur. I thought that was one of his best performances along with Ioan Gruffold.
