She has plenty of acting talent. Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene is as strong of a performance as any lead actress has given since the turn of the century.

She's actually a fine actress. IMO she's one of the more underrated actresses out there, both looks wise and acting wise. She's legit talented, not just a girl with famous siblings.

It helped her get a start in the business, but simply being related to a couple of people that played a child on a hokey kiddie show from the late 80's/early 90's is going to get you parts in a string of quality independent films as well as huge blockbusters.
