I can understand the money thing, but I don't think it would be beneath her. Full House still has many, many fans, young and old. It wouldn't kill her (or the twins for that matter) to make a special guest appearance or two so that they don't have to recast or write the character out of the show. Michelle was probably the most memorable and popular character, after all.
I think maybe they'll make up for her absence by introducing a cute child character similar to her.
It has fans, but it's certainly not regarded as a highly respectable acting job...like I said, she's too busy for it.
