It was kind of high-school whiney of her ex-fiance to spill the news in an interview. He should have let it leak in some indirect, subtle way. Revenge is a meal best served cold, you know.

Not to mention the fact that actors are constantly traveling and don't always have easy access to having convos in person...we have no idea what conversations about the state of the relationship/engagement happened building up this phone call or after it. For all we know she'd been trying to meet in person to discuss it and scheduling conflicts got in the way...or there had already been clear indications that this was coming well in advance.
All we know is exactly what I said earlier in the thread, one side of the story from a tabloid interview that specifies only two details...that there was a phone call about the break up and that it happened on the day a friend died.

THIS EXACTLY- Hopefully this doesn't bring her down or anything...I just don't get why they were engaged in the first place LOL- maybe it's just because I'm a fan but I think she's too good for him. He should be thankful he was engaged to a hot actress at all instead of complaining about a phone break-up. It sucks that the guy had his fiancee dump him the same day his best friend died but he should let it go.
