What happened to the interesting roles?

When I saw Martha Marcy May Marlene, I was completely spellbound...hanging on her every move, word, facial expression... And she was quite impressive in Silent House.

Now all I see her doing are films like Godzilla and Avengers and I'm bored.

I still have a ton of faith in her and I hope she makes her big bucks in big budget films for a stint and then gets back to interesting, captivating roles.

She's trying to mix it up. She made a name for herself in the industry and with the artsy crowd with her smaller indie films, now she's expanding her audience with huge mainstream blockbusters.

Getting to do both is the best type of career for an actor/actress to have.

True.

I adore her. She's beautiful in a natural, unassuming way. And very intelligent. Anyone who can transform into a character like Martha has clearly observed life and people on a deep level.

She does have her "I Saw The Light" movie coming out soon, that's more on the smaller, "artsy" side.

Scarlet Witch is awesome, she has a great role! Especially with Civil War coming up.

Well, next week she starts filming up in the mountains of Utah, playing an FBI agent trying to find a man who raped and killed a young girl. Is that interesting enough?

I think she did the interesting roles first to give herself some credibility. Everyones heard of the Olsen Twins, and by proxy, we'd assume that any fame Elizabeth's has was handed to her. While her family relations might have played a role in her star power, she chose to go the indie route first and build a profile for herself. Now, she's doing billion dollar films in her 20s. That's not bad. She is also doing another indie film coming next year. She simply played it smart.
