I'd love to see this guy make a comeback, he's such a funny actor and I'm sure he could do well at the serious roles aswell.
I could definetly see him in a Wes Anderson or Coen brothers film, he would be great.
Do you mean just a comeback in dramas, or a comeback altogether? Because he's on Modern Family as, though he won't admit it, the series lead. I don't think you need a "comeback" if you currently are a series lead on one of the most popular, critically-acclaimed shows in recent years.

shareI do agree with you. But I suppose we should look at it this way: even if MF is just one tv show, it's better than nothing. Not too often do people get more than 1 hit tv show, if they ever even get 1. He's had 2. Also, I'm just lucky he got this opportunity because not too many people in Hollywood are out seeking 65/66 year old men for lead roles, especially in tv.
