I DIDN'T LIKE HOW HE PLAYED THE ALBERT WESKER CHARACTER ON RE: EXTINTION, HE WAS ONLY SITTING ON HIS CHAIR IN THE 4 APPERANCES HE MADE THROUGH THE WHOLE MOVIE, I WAS EXPECTING HE WOULD BE INVOLVED IN SOME KICK ASS SCENE. PLUS HE LOOKED SO BALD, IT'S NOT WESKER LOOK A LIKE, I THINK THE DIRECTOR CAME WITH THIS IDEA: PICK A DUMB IRISH BLONDE GUY, PUT SOME SUNGLASSES AND YOU HAVE YOUR ALBERT WESKER IN 3 SECONDS.
shareI thought he did pretty good. Anderson didn't have much for either him or Claire to do in this flick. He made it all about Alice. Great flick, I enjoyed he hell out of it.
shareI thought it was a good way to introduce a character. Wesker just sitting there doesn't look like a threat. We don't know anything about him. Yes, he is the chairman of Umbrella.What do we know of what Wesker can do? Give orders and talk down to people? If you came into this movie expecting a replica of Wesker from the games, then your expectations were way too high. Unless, they don't use him in RE: 4, like he should be, then you should get angry and not how they introduced him. As far as the actor goes, I don't know what to say on that one. That's your opinion.

shareWell, Wesker from the games is kind of robotic. I like him in the games and all but I didn't notice him being too emotional. He is definitely a calulating predator.I don't think he really shows that much emotion at all. BTW, I have only played Code Verconia and the remake of Resident evil, so I could be wrong on that one. I liked O'Mara's performance. Emotional is something Wesker (as an introduction character) should not really show anyway. Too emotional, then I couldn't belive he heads Umbrella. But, this my opinion. I am not trying to force anyone else to like it.

I'm a HUGE fan of Albert Wesker and i only wanted to see this movie cuz he's in it.And i can say that Jason O'Mara did very good job with Wesker's character.I was expecting like all others some kick a$$ moves from him and stuff like that,but he didn't do all that and he still turned out pretty well.Think about new RE movie i hope we will see him and Alice fighting,those red eyes and cool moves..

Exactly what i was saying. I would rather they pushed the character into the next movie, than use shotty character development that plagues basically all the characters from all of the movies. I guess that is hoping of too much though.
