Anyone notice the 3 'Captain America' references? Hmm...

Anyone notice the not one, not even two,
but THREE "Captain America" references?!?
Episode 8 "

The Russian "goon" character called Sam Tyler
"Captain America" TWICE,
during the henchman's "Apple Pie" mini-monologue:
"Look at him, he's Captain America.
Do you like apple pie, Captain America?"
When this is said, everyone pauses & has a funny look on their faces,
like they know something we don't (maybe he's a potential Cap?).

And later, the Russian bank robber says to Sam:
"How can this be, you look true blue",
after Sam mentions being the "ultimate immigrant"
(from the future, that is!:).

Other potential "hints:
- Sam wore a blue shirt throughout the remainder of the episode)
- One minor note: the 3rd Red Skull is a Communist,
rather than a Nazi, like the first 2)

I wonder if Jason O'Mara is being considered for the role
of Steve Rogers/Captain America in the "First Avenger" movie?!?
He'd fit the part, IMnsHO!

And, for those that complained "he's from Ireland",
here is another possible clue (note the date:) -

"O'Mara Becomes A U.S. Citizen

I don't know about these references, but I saw Life On Mars tonight just after Lost. I watched Jason O'Mara for about ten minutes and I was instantly convinced that he should play Cap!
