Is a good actor but....

He's been cursed with being on shows that get cancelled it seems. Which sucks because he's been awesome in everything I've seen him in so far. I'm sure he'll catch the right show at some point. There needs to be another futuristic/space show that stars him and Nathan Fillion haha

I first saw Jason O' Mara in Berkeley Square (BBC drama). I had no idea who he was, but I was like, "Damn, this guy's hot." I don't really find the BBC men "hot". Attractive, maybe. But not hot. And Jason O' Mara was HOT. But I was only thirteen years old then, so the slight crush fizzled out eventually...until I saw him in Life on Mars, aged very well. I was twenty-four then, and when his face flashed on the screen, I still found myself thinking, "Damn, this guy's hot."

Sadly, both shows - Berkeley Square and Life on Mars - were cancelled. Berkeley Square really should have come back for a second series, but you can't blame the network execs, I guess. If a show didn't catch on, it didn't catch on, and they have to make money somehow. Almost makes me wish there were a million bajillion people on the planet like me who tuned into the show.

I also saw him in Monarch of the Glen (which I caught on Netflix), but he was only there for a few episodes. :( :(

I'm glad he's still being cast in other roles. Really looking forward to seeing him play George B. McClellan in To Appomattox (2013), even if he doesn't have the lead role.
