Nolan's movies were better when he worked with film score composer Hans Zimmer
Both Tenet and Oppenheimer were for the most part let downs and kind of unremarkable movies. The reason? No Hans Zimmer musical score. Zimmer's very emotional and powerful music with Nolan's awesome and intelligent storytelling and commanding direction is some kind of amazing movie magic going on. It works. The movies they've collaborated on were all very good and very entertaining works of art. (Including the outstanding Batman Begins movie and music, where both Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard composed the soundtrack together.) Hans Zimmer was Christopher Nolan's lucky charm!
