There must be other Nichelle's ...
I had never heard the name Nichelle before Nichelle Nichols on
Star Trek. Now there are other Nichelles, all of whom so far as
I have seen were born after Uhura, ... but, what Nichelle
and actually name before Nichelle Nichols who was not born with
that name took it for her stage name. Did she make that name
up. If not, where did it come from, and who was named Nichelle
before her?
