The Shark Hunter surfaces

Nero's hard to find, The Shark Hunter, aka Il Cacciatore Di Squali; Cazador de Tiburones, does surface, but only on YouTube, for now. A great clip under the Italian title, and a trailer under the English title. Based on the #'s of people who viewed them, it's still a very popular movie!

I see it's available on VHS from amazon. Is it worth $10? It sounded kind of campy, but fun. Some of his movies are hard to find, either they're out of print, expensive or are only available on Region 2 dvds. I've ended up buying some of his movies on VHS (those old, heavy videotapes make me nervous, though). I really would like to see some more high quality, uncut dvd releases. He's a late discovery for me and I've been trying to get my hands on what I can. I'm particular to the 70s era stuff.

Yes. Buy that Shark Hunter tape. It's a great looking transfer in a beautiful clamshell. Very much worth the 10 bucks. There is also a version in one of those "grindhouse experience" DVD sets, but it looks quite murky and there are hardcoded greek subs. Still, I highly recommend Shark Hunter if you're a Franco Nero fan.
