Why am I so attracted to him?

It does not make sense on so many levels. Especially evolutionarily!
I'm gay, that already puts me out varying the gene pool, but he's also quite up there in years, and that is also very frowned upon in Darwin's world.
To top it off, I'm sixteen. Shouldn't I be more attracted to people my own age group?
But I can't help it. Mature men with facial hair... crazy. People are weird. Myself included.

Franco Nero is gorgeous so most everyone would be attracted to him. I'm Vanessa's age (a year or two younger) and I think he is one of the most handsome men I've ever seen !! I must check him out now at his age !

When will we be free...when will I be free?
Why is this happening...why has this happened? I feel so helpless, victimized even....as helpless as you. Oh God!

Started on your collection yet? Ah we could have clubs, newsletters and
websites over Franco Nero and feel a little better I suppose.

But mostly it's lonely and filled with reluctance...to be a fan...a terrible
fan. Placed in a place where there is nothing but journeys into the past and that stark wall of reality that's always there after the movie is over.

Still I gotta ask....how the *beep* do you become a fan of Franco Nero with all
the trimmings at 16 years of age? Duuuuuude! Man up and gimme the details...seriously THE Details.

Hey, J. Thanks, I appreciate your very eloquent and frustrated reply. Gosh, I posted this thread almost two years ago and I still feel the same way about this man or men that are like him. The first time I glanced this marvelous man in the image of god was in trailers for Letters to Juliette. I knew I just had to see this film to experience this mysteriously erotic figure better. I saw the picture in a theater with my mother... More and more I kept wishing she wasn't there next to me as Mr. Nero was delivering his performance. I'm sure you too have felt very envious of Dame Redgrave as she shared those wonderfully charming and close moments with our beloved. Very glad I saw that film because it helped me come to terms with the type of man I am attracted to and years later I don't question it anymore, I embrace it and know it will bring me joy later in my life. ________________________________________Don't Panic.

I thought Franco Nero was beautiful when i was in my teens, i am fast approaching 50 now and still think he is beautiful.Think i will have to watch QUERELLE again soon.
