String of bad movies

He is a very good actor but he needs to stop playing in bad movies, if it wasn't for Chris Nolan's movies I wouldn't even know this guy. Does he have a bad agent or what?

I like all his movies, except 'In Time', which was *beep*

"In Time" was not that bad I think, but I do believe that its potential was wasted. Still Cillian played his part pretty well and was far more believable than Justin Timberlake as Will. His Timekeeper performance was convincing most of the time, though it was definitely not an outstanding performance.

"Watching the Detectives" bothered me more although I can't say I entirely dislike it. I'm just feeling uneasy about that flick, and yet I liked the chemistry between Lucy and Cillian - at times, that is. Hmmmm.

"Red Eye" had me caught in an instant but the second half wasn't that strong, to put it nicely. The role itself was not that bad, anyway, and normally I do enjoy Craven's work.

All other roles were fine, brilliant, or even outstanding. Except for "Intermission" which I still haven't seen. Just no time to watch it. :(

Timberlake kinda ruined "In Time" for me. I don't buy him as an actor at all. Had that role been played by someone else, I would've liked it much more.

I liked both "Red Eye," "Red Lights," and "Watching the Detectives," too. He had great chemistry with the lead actresses in all of those (Rachel MacAdams, Signorey Weaver and Lucy Liu).

I haven't seen Red Lights yet - as the theater here was only showing it for about two weeks. :( I'm going to watch it in December. As for the chemistry between Cillian and Rachel MacAdams: AWESOME! And I truly liked how Lisa/Rachel became stronger and stronger in the second half. I'd love to see those two together again.

I think I'd have enjoyed the chemistry between Cillian and Lucy more, if Violet hadn't annoyed me that much in some of the scenes. ._.

Has he been in anything where he didn't have great chemistry with his female co-lead? One thing about the films that I've seen him in is that I have always noticed that he seems to have great chemistry with the lead actresses.

I can't see the reason why...! LOL! :-D

The only movies I have been a little less than completely thrilled by are IN TIME (due to Timberlake's lackluster presence, seriously, Cillian would have been better in the hero role as well as his good performance as a villain) and even though it is really cute, it just seemed like a strange, weird choice to be in WATCHING THE DETECTIVES. It's a really cheerful and cute movie, even likeable, but somehow, it's so weird to see Cillian in something like that, especially after such brilliance as THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY, INTERMISSION, DISCO PIGS, BREAKFAST ON PLUTO, ON THE EDGE, SUNBURN, SUNSHINE, etc. As for RED EYE, he is the main reason why it's so successful and popular. He does well in sinister roles. I liked RETREAT a lot, even though it couldn't have been bleaker if it tried. I also enjoyed INCEPTION, BATMAN BEGINS and he was a bright spot in THE EDGE OF LOVE.

Haven't seen RED LIGHTS or BROKEN yet. I have a feeling BROKEN will be a tough one to see him in.

Oh yeah...I completely forgot how awesome he was in PEACOCK.
