Both Morgan and Holt flew to LAX but didn't have slots on the panel or anywhere at the show, what happened?

I was extremely frustrated by there not being a single member of the Originals in the panel -_-
I have no idea what happened, they were the main focus the entire season are a huge part of all the cliffhangers and yet, no one saw fit to include them on the panel? WTH indeed =(

Jo had meetings and editing to do on his project which has a deadline of early next month. Claire was done filming for a while and went home for a long weekend.
