This guy really is an amazing actor. Huge undiscovered talent. I don't understand why he hasn't made it bigger than just the vampire diaries and the originals by now. He's got a great look as well. Start casting this guy in movies!!
shareI've always thought he deserved better than being stuck on The CW to be honest. I can see him on a high quality network like HBO in fact he's one of the only actors on the network (and the only one on TVD or TO) that I can see making it big after the show is over.

Maybe he likes doing television series. Not as disruptive as making movies because you're not traveling as much. Easier to have a family, I would think. Steady income.
shareacting wise he is a great talent in my opinion but he doesn't have the looks that is so common in Hollywood. Hollywood loves muscles and abilities to expand in different roles, something Joe hasn't done much of . Joe is like a Jared Leto type but Jared has a slight sexy, bad boy, outsider, intellectual appeal and can act his ass off.
If he really wanted to put himself out there he should have sign up for shows like Doctor Who , which has pushed out a few well known names. Maybe a couple films. He would be great in Star Wars films . Hell he would be good in Game of Thrones . His agent or manger is limiting him, I assume.
