why the hell isnt he getting better roles in movies

im just stunned, he is number 6 on imdb ahead of stars like pitt or gossling and yet i cant remember the last time i saw him in a leading role, am i crazy for thinking that this guy is oscar material? i mean he for sure can act.

I agree. He has been lead in movies in the past but always gets overlooked. He's so 'psyco just barely under control's in Walking Dead. Just perfect. Even tho I was broken hearted that he was p'm saying such an evil character. I've loved him since Supernatural.
