Where does Jason live when he's not killing people?

Does he just chill in a man hole he made and hope no one trips on it?

In #2, it was revealed that he had built a shack for himself in the woods.

You would think with all these murders in the woods, the police would find that place in minutes.

In half of the series he's a zombie so he doesn't have to eat food or rest.

It's not about rest. He should be killing every day but he doesn't because he would be caught easily. He often shows up much later after his last kill.

After part 6, if he is not chained to the bottom of Crystal Lake he is walking around the forests looking for trespassers.
