No. It is in no way her trying to be a "Hollywood bimbo". The nudity and sex scenes in the film are fairly realistic and they actually work within the context of the movie because of her character and is in no way gratuitous. She played the role very well and I could see her becoming a new indie darling.

This is/was a very small, indie movie that showed mostly at film fests and had a few limited runs in the major movie market cities: New York, Chicago, L.A., San Francisco and here in Seattle it only played for one week at one movie theatre this past December. I'm sure that most of the audience will be found on DVD.

I highly recommend the movie, but I must tell you that it is a slower paced movie, so you need to be in the moment and not be heavily distracted.

lol. I think it's so weird when former child actors start playing more adult roles.

Hmm. . . looks like I'm picking this up.

I managed to view the last 45 minutes of this movie before work this morning. I enjoyed it very much, many plot aspects were identifiable for me and truth be told, she was extremely good in this role. I saw a review that described it as a "breakout role" for her. The nudity was fitting for the story, not overdone and really was tastefully done. Will be searching my satellite this evening for the next showing.

Woof. I'll have to keep an eye out for that film.
