I recently read somewhere that they are trying to do a remake of "The Crow" but the actors cast as the lead keep leaving for some reason or another. Jason has already done a clip of his own:

He would definitely look the part and somewhat resembles Brandon lee too but he's busy with the aquaman and justice league films
shareIt was reported today that Jason is definitely doing The Crow. The original franchise was doomed from the start when Brandon Lee was accidentally killed during the final weeks of filming. The sequels never were as good as the first one. Wheat they first tried to reboot this series, despite having so many failed sequels, some straight to video/cable, all four actors and each director joined with them left the project. Jason can be more than an action film/comic book character actor. He has acting chops (great in Red Road, GOT). He is gorgeous too and could probably do anything he wants but I don't get why he would want to be apart of an obviously doomed/cursed reboot! His Conan reboot was horrible (not his fault, just bad dialog, bad storyline, etc). He's already playing Aquaman and hopefully if he gets a solo franchise out of that, they will get a greasy writing/directing team that won't make it lame like the recent Superman vs Batman, etc. the Wonderwoman trailer looks way more exciting and intriguing than The Justice League's too! I hope Jason isn't doing The Crow for the money because it isn't worth it! He shoukd spread out and do something original!
shareIΒ΄m abig crow fan, grew up with the graphic novels and loved the Brandon Lee movie (not to confuse we me loving Brandon Lee who had very limited range). nevertheless, I did like the second one. It lost itself a bit in the last third, still it was a good Crow movie. The rest was crap.
I really look forward seeing Momoa as the Crow. But hopefully with a mature rating. Studios should have more faith in these titles, Deadpool showed, mature can be successfl (actully way more sucessfull as the generic borefests like Avengers 2, Iron Man 2&3, Thor 2 and so on)
...but they hung him anyway.
