The implication in the quote that it's getting worse or may be getting worse is interesting.

I would like to see him retire today. Time for fresher leadership.

It seems like Lorne Michaels could be close to considering retirement. This article suggests Tina Fey could be consider as a successor to Lorne Michaels role at SNL. I could see this happening.
