When did he get orthodontic correction?

I’m rewatching the BBC/HBO coproduction, Rome. I had forgotten how crooked his teeth were, and how misaligned his bite used to be. It must have been a great relief to him to have it straightened. I’m trying to figure out when in the timeline of his career he had the appliances. (I’ll bet he had Invisalign.). Obviously he also had his teeth contoured. Perhaps he even got veneers.

The point is: his smile is so attractive now, but more importantly, his teeth no longer impede his speech. He used to mumble on account of his teeth being too large and his smile misshapen. Now he is able to speak clearly and I’ll bet biting and chewing are easier and more comfortable, too.
