If HBO is in fact going to make its own mini-series out of I, Claudius, I think Menzies would make the perfect Claudius.

No way is should he be cast as Claudius. He has much too much testosterone and too much of a dark side.

Tobias Menzies is... SEJANUS.

I agree that Menzies would be miscast as Claudius. I think he has too commanding and imposing of a screen presence for that role.

But I like him as Sejanus! I think he might be an interesting Herod too.
