Who would you like to see Tobias act with?
My choice would be Geoffrey Rush.
shareI'd love to see him opposite so many actors. I'd love to see him in a cat and mouse thriller with his friend, Benedict Cumberbatch or Mark Rylance. I could see him opposite a lot of major actresses. I think he'd make an interesting leading man with someone like Eva Green.
shareToby Stephens, Liam Neeson.
shareI hope he gets to do scenes with Ben Mendelsohn in Una. They were already both in Black Sea, but they never shared the screen.
I'd like to see him do more than just a cameo in Atonement opposite James McAvoy and I'd love to see him work with Cillian Murphy as well.

Hi eloiseshf,
I agree about both actors. I'd love to see a new production of Pygmalion on Broadway. I think he'd make a marvelous Henry Higgins opposite some upcoming actress. I'd love to see him in the promised reboot of Rebecca as Maxim de Winter.
He doesn't seem to get many romantic roles, does he? I agree, Rebecca would be great.
shareHe's played romantic roles on stage, but had only one romantic role in the film, Forget Me Not, before Outlander. Outlander was his first sex scene too. I think he did quite well.
There is a popular series of mysteries featuring a young protagonist named Mary Russell. As a fifteen-year-old-runaway, she meets Sherlock Holmes. He takes her under his wing, educates her and makes her a detective. They fall in love, and eventually marry when she turns 21. It's been optioned but will probably never be filmed for several reasons - Mary is only 15 when they meet, Holmes is in his 40s. Tobias would be a natural as Sherlock Holmes, but of course, his pal, Benedict Cumberbatch is the most famous Holmes right now.
Outlander was his first sex scene too.
I confess I was a bit puzzled when he said that, because in Pulling he did have a sex scene, even though it was really grotesque- his character was a
self-centered yuppie who got turned on by having sex on a mattress covered with cash.
A scene in Forget Me Not was also fairly explicit, though technically it didn't count as a sex scene because it stopped short of the act.

Hi eloiseshf,
I only quoted what Tobias has said in several interviews. He referred to "losing his cherry" in Outlander then turned red. I've seen the beginning of the Pulling scene where he tells the woman he wants to have sex but not the entire scene. He made me laugh out loud.
