Let's throw this out - on screen violence vs on screen romance....

So help me out on this one - and I like this guy, though, he needs to lay off the creepy villains because he is trending toward typecasting in a big way (i.e., pay attention to Al Pacino's speech to Leo in Once Upon a Time In....Hollywood) - McDonough has said in interviews that he refuses to do love scenes (just like Andy Garcia) out of respect for his faith and wife, but when watching his acting, he is all out in the most violent depictions of.....violence.

Makes no sense......

I agree. It’s like people who are big fans of bloody violence in films and shows but if a woman gets naked they freak out.

Last time I looked, people would rather interact with a hot naked woman in real life than someone trying to kill them, so what’s the deal?

He doesn't want to do love scenes, because he doesn't want to cheat on his wife. He doesn't want his wife and children seeing him kissing/having sex with other women. Movie violence is fake. Makes perfect sense.
