I just started watching Penny Dreadful and I think she is amazing in the part. But I wanted to know more about her, her age and where she was from, etc, and I couldn't believe she is a year older than me and I thought she was at least 55 or 56. This woman has had ZERO plastic surgery and probably either spent too much time in the sun or bad London air, whatever it is, she has not had any noticeable plastic surgery. Nada, nil, ZERO!!! I'm also a license esthetician, a skin-care specialist with 25 years in the biz and have had my hands on skin from newborn to 96 years old. And by the way she is absolutely gorgeous.

Her body is incredibly slim - one cant remain that slim 40+ and still look fresh in the face. In Season 3 of Peaky Blinders she looks considerably different to what she had looked like in the previous seasons. Apart from that she has a permanent pout which is symptomatic of upper lip injections and her cheeks look as though they have got serious fillers. The woman is such a damn good actress I really think it is sad that her looks are an issue (for her). Her body is incredibly slim - one cant remain that slim 40+ and still look fresh in the face.
