Was excellent in Nine Perfect Strangers
The series itself was a bit underwhelming. I enjoyed it, but compared to Big Little Lies it didn’t really have the same emotional pay-off.
McCarthy was definitely the stand out of the talented cast though. For someone who is mainly thought of as a comedian she is actually a fine dramatic actress. I was well impressed.
