Janet Margolin played a horrible role of a Jewish victim of the Nazis in this movie. I cannot imagine that the toll of playing a role like that would be as an actor. The movie is hardly equivalent in arousal level than the few scenes she is in ... it is a weird movie.
Margolin died at age 50 of ovarian cancer.
She was a beautiful woman.
Even though she was playing a bit of a bitch, I found her rather attractive as the Prosecutor who tries to indict the Ghostbusters in Ghostbusters 2.
It's sad she died so young.

My brother and I are fans of an old film called Bus Riley's Back in Town featuring a young Michael Parks and a fresh faced Janet Margolin.
I never heard of her before last night when I saw the movie Morituri, but it was odd that her part in that movie was more intense than the whole rest of the movie. Plus it is so odd to see these movies where Marlon Brando puts on these weird accents where he sounds like he is doing a cartoon character. This was a very weird movie though because if they were going to do a movie about the Holocaust they should have done that, instead a fake movie about a shipload of rubber going to the Third Reich.
But I like older movies like this, they do not pander so much to their audience, but they do take themselves so seriously, Marlon Brando, and SS officer ??? LOL.
She was also Woody Allen's first leading lady in Take the Money and Run.
