why republicans did not pardon him. not evil enough?

He was FAR more use to them in campaigning to bring back the death penalty, and to get any democrat who opposed it out of office.

but they don't really need him there. these day all they have to say is "at least he's not a democrat".

he's a pedo - at least he's not a democrat
he's a harasser - at least he's not a democrat
he's a convicted fellon- at least he's not a democrat
he's gonna take all we have and give it to the filthy rich - at least he's not a democrat

i bet this would work with a convicted murderer as well.
