I don't know if anyone has read the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child, but the main character, Jack Reacher, is 6'5" and about 250lbs. Manganiello is about that size and has the right look for the character.
Sadly, Tom Cruise is going to star in the film. Oh well.

sharenot sure he's quite right for jack but lord....he'd be a million times better than cruise. i've read child's series for years and i seriously thought it was a joke when i heard tom was going to star. it's like casting a chihuahua to play a great dane.
