Well, the new rumor that the internet is devouring this week is that DC and Warner Brothers' supposed slate of upcoming projects. Included on that list was a Shazam film scheduled for July 2016 (only two months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).

If we are believing these unconfirmed reports, I personally think that Joe Manganiello would be a great fit for Shazam. He's a good actor and True Blood is ending, meaning he is now free to pursue more movie gigs.

Joe would be a good choice for Shazam but I would rather see him as Metallo

That is possible since he has been considered for a lot of DC roles like batman, superman etc and his built could match up to Dwayne Johnson if he is black Adam .
