Even my own mother thinks this guys is hot. I have tried to see it, but I just don't know what it is that people find so great about his features.
So, what is his appeal?

shareHe works out a lot to get that body so I think he deserves the attention he gets for it. However, I don't find his face particularly appealing and I don't think he can act. He will be smart to continue pursuing roles that call for a body and maybe not a mind...or a real actor...because that is what is going to pay the bills for the next few years.
Oh, and I think it helps that he has never met a camera that he didn't love so he gets a lot of exposure.

sharelol- so I'm told :) I guess this is just one of those preference things. I saw that alot of women took notice of him...I just don't know what it is about him that is appealing. Eh- to each her own!

I have heard that he is a gentleman :) his looks just don't thrill me like they seem to for others.

A lot of it is personal preferences combine with genetic urges. There is a lot about his physical features, voice and mannerism that appeal to me on several levels. He's very physically fit and healthy, which is just nice to look at, and on some primal level says "I make good babies." He's quite muscular because of his role in True Blood, but he's not overly large with it, his musculature is not grotesque, it's proportional and looks right. Overall his stature and strength work for that primal urge to make babies with big healthy men. He's also quite handsome, not in a perfectly symmetrical way, but his features are pleasing. Especially so if you like dark hair, brown eyes and "ethnic" features (he's no blond north European, obviously). And from what I've heard of him and seen in interviews he seems like a genuine decent, nice guy. He's a big teddy bear...a very sexy teddy bear.
You know what, figure out when you're ovulating and look at him again. You might just find him a bit more attractive. ;) I certain like Dwayne Johnson more during a certain time of the month. XD
And as for personal preferences, he might just not be your type. I know people who are consistently attracted to a certain type and Joe just isn't yours and there's nothing wrong with that. Me on the hand, Joe is in a line of tall, dark haired, bearded, brown eyed men with interesting noses that I've swooned over. Seriously, he's number five. I have a type and Joe hits all the right notes.
