He does look older than his age. That's one of the more unattractive features about a human - If you look older than your age, odds are you aren't attractive.
But his fans don't mind it because it's friggin' Joe Manganielaoalllaloo...
He's actually almost 40 in real life.
Don't think he looks older, but the huge and muscular frame, tanned skin and beard tend to make someone look older.
We're so used to see 40 year-olds dressing and getting their whole figure look like teenagers that when a man actually has manly features, they tend to contrast with their contemporaries.
But we can see by the quality of his skin (still very tight) that he's not old yet.
