Lobo

I really like Joe, big fan actually and he'd be an excellent physical casting but every time he publicly lobbies for a role(look at his twitter favorites), he never gets it. 😖. He also doesn't have what it takes to be a character actor, let alone leading man. He's wooden and charisma free, unfortunately. Most of his roles were costarring and he is unproven at the box office, no way would the studio take a chance on him like that since he really isn't a big name that will draw an audience.

Idk, I guess I'm just being negative because of what I've seen so far. The guy has a degree in theater from CMU so obviously he has talent and training. Maybe he just needs a movie like this to be the right vehicle for his acting strengths since he's said from the beginning of his career that he wants to star in a superhero movie.

I had actually consider Jason Mamoa for Lobo for a time, but with him as Aquaman, I started looking and realized Joe would be a much better choice. This guy is a beast and could play Wolverine. Having seen True Blood, he really showed an animalistic side and it looked good. I had wished they explored that more but that was what the wolf form was for I guess. Lobo would be an opportunity to go full on "monster" mode without being replaced by a wolf... Unless of course you're Spanish where Lobo already means wolf...

Someone should call his agent... Maybe organize a photoshoot in the Lobo make-up and see how the public reacts. I think it could land him the role.
