shareI think it's a bit more serious than that. The claim is that she actually CREATED the recruiting techniques, rather than just enforcing them. As 2IC of an organisation charged with sex trafficking, blackmail, forced imprisonment and even child sex abuse, she isn't getting off lightly any way you cut it.

I thought she was facing 20 years but I just checked and you're right it's 40 years. I'm thinking since she pled guilty and really looked lost in that police video when her slave cult leader Keith Raniere got arrested..she'll get something around 5-15 years.
shareIt is a Federal case and there is no parole in the Federal sentencing, so she will serve some years. Maybe 10. Combine both 20's to one 20 year sentence, then cut that by half because she pled guilty.
