I can't believe this guy is still making movies...

I am sorry to say this, and I never wish ill to anybody, but I felt compelled for acting's sake to say that this guy just isn't an actor, plain and simple.

I mean you watch actors, and you think, he's a natural, he/she were born to this, well... this guy is the exact antithesis to this, the other side of the coin.

No one can accuse him of being a natural, or for bringing anything to a role for that matter.

Of course this is a business that tries to pass off Ben friggin Affleck as a star, I am aware of that, so I guess there's room for everybody if they are well connected, regardless a of complete lack talent.

I MUST totally disagree with the OP! Have you not seen him in A Love Song For Bobby Long??? Talk about a natural at acting, OMG, he is BRILLIANT in that movie!!!
Even in American Outlaws he was a total natural, not a forced line or mannerism came from him.
Same in Whiteout!
It's a shame the director made The Spirit like he did. Gabriel Macht would have shined instead of catching so much flack for it!

Cast Tom Welling & Erica Durance as Superman & Lois Lane in the new Superman movies!

I disagree, and there's something about what he brings to a role that makes me want to see him in more things.

I just rented White Out in order to see him in something else. I think it's unfortunate he has't had more success than he has so far.

First of all Filmi who the hell are you to critize Gabriel's acting first of all..are you an acting teacher or a actor yourself? because if you're not then you need to shut the hell up and stop giving a advice on it because Gabriel's not a horrible actor far from it, and making one movie in his entire career that happend to not be a huge hit doesn't make him a horrible actor he's made tons of amazing films before and even after The Spirit, also you can't exactly blame the actors in this movie for how the movie turned out because they had a really crappy director but they did best for what they had to work with so you have to at least give them some credit for that. I'm not saying The Spirit was awesome I'm not even saying it was the best movie of the year cause quite honestly if Gabriel hadn't been in it I wouldn't of wasted my money on it Gabriel's honestly the only reason I even went to go see this waste of a film, but back to my point Gabriel's not a terrible actor and you just need to shutup because you don't know what a good actor is when you see one obviously, if you honestly think Gabriel's a terrible actor because he's not plus he's gorgeous so that doesn't hurt. I'm looking forward to seeing his new movies, Ive been a fan of his for has long has I could remember and I'm not stopping now because some idoit on here decides to give there opinion on something they know absolutely nothing about.

I love Gabriel Macht. I think he's got a lot of promise as an actor, and I look forward to seeing him get more high-profile roles, and really get a chance to show his range.

And, a word about Whiteout - I love that movie. I know it's not any great achievement of cinema - it wont win any awards - but that's not the kind of movie it is. Whiteout is meant to be a bit of escapism, and nothing more.

And on that note I must say the cast all give wonderful performances. Especially Kate Beckinsale, Tom Skerritt, and Gabriel Macht.

How could you say that no one can accuse him of being a natural or for bringing anything to a role, when I myself just accused him of being a natural, and for bringing EVERYTHING to a role, last night, when I watched the show 'Suits'. Already your intuition is lacking!

This man is electric. He was so quick and sure of his lines and mannerisms. He even made a few jabs at comedy, giving me small fits of the giggles. I couldn't help to be reminded of George Clooney in some scenes, and thats saying a lot. He lit up my television screen, and he may have stolen my heart as well.

And also, how could you compare him to Ben Affleck? I am ashamed of you.
