The BBC has announced an 8 part series of "Ripper Street" with Matthew in the leading role. Hurrah!

I read that it will be set post-Jack the Ripper murders, so I don't think there will be a Jack in this series.

Sounds like an interesting project, indeed.

Yum. Thanks for that heads up! I wonder if PBS in the States wll air it for us next year, or if it will be a DVD-thing only for us.

Perhaps if it has good ratings PBS will run it in 2013.
