What would you like to see Matthew in?

I'd like to see him do Anna Karenina as Vronsky! He would be fabulous, especially with that sensitive and artistic director Joe Wright!

Man, there are a few roles I'd love to see him in... Benedict in "Much Ado About Nothing" would be interesting. I'm curious how he'd interpret the role, as he never seems to take the character in the same way that others have done. Also, I think he'd make a sensitive and interesting "Henry V"... Can you imagine him as a brooding "Hamlet"? That could be great fun!

As for non-Shakespearean roles... I'm reading Ian McEwan's "Saturday" right now. That would be an interestingly challenging role for him. Yet, I feel it would match up well with his sensitivity. I think it'd be extremely interesting to see him in "1984."I'm not entirely confident he could pull it off, but it would be really interesting to see him in a challenging role like that. I'd also be able to see him as Meursault in Camus'"The Stranger." It would be interesting to see if he'd be able to bring the usual empathy and sensitivity to such a hardened, anti-hero.

What if he'd done Lupin in Harry Potter? That could've been a very interesting role to see him in.
