Another Mediocre Nepotism Baby

Look at the RT ratings for his various projects:

Operation: Endgame - 40%
Another Happy Day - 46%
Assassination Nation - 74%
Malcolm & Marie - 57%
Deep Water - 36%

And now "The Idol" - 25%.

Okay, Euphoria has been well-received (80%), but that was adapted from an Israeli TV show, and has been heaivly criticised for sexualising teenage characters.

How is this guy still getting work?

Oh yeah, his dad, Barry Levinson was a hugely successful and Oscar-winning movie director (albeit one who hasn't made anything worth watching since the 1990s).

I've only seen Assassination Nation, his most critically-acclaimed film, and I thought it was one of the most cringe-worthy Millennial/Gen Z pandering pieces of trash I've seen. Clearly the work of a straight cis white dude desperate to show us all how woke and hip he is. *sigh* πŸ™„

Shame he has none of his father's talent (even 2020s Barry Levinson is arguably more watchable than his son).
