so i watched OTH ep15 and it says that she is 5"4 on her I.D. i always read that she is 5"2-3.
shareI think Joy herself is 5'3 but maybe they wanted Haley the character to be taller than Joy really is. Because on set maybe she wears heels but they don't show it.
For example in Smallville, Kristin Kreuk is 5'1 whereas Lana is supposed to be 5'4 (and when Tom Welling is 6'3 you need all the height you can get lol) and so they make her wear heels but they tailor her pants to hide the heels so it just looks like she's wearing flats or sneakers.
Another example is that Allison Mack (also from Smallville) once stated that she is 5'4 but on the show they make her look 5'7 since Tom is so tall by making her wear high heels and making her stand on boxes.
They also fudge heights a little especially because Joy is so short and James is so tall.
