shareHorrible idea.
shareOh wait, she's going to be playing her own music?!!!!!!!!!
Again, horrible idea. I mean, at least she won't be starting in it. If she would have played Allie, then that would have been tres worse. I also dont take Nicholas Sparks seriously... I mean, he wanted miley cyrus for a film for *beep* sake. Plus, he wants money. That's why he is backing it up. Not saying it's going to suck but I think the film should be left the way it is.
^Actually Miley Cyrus approached him, not the other way around.
Plus you're obviously not a fan but give it a chance before you start crapping on an idea that hasn't even gone into production. I have faith that Joy will make this thing rock!
I think that a "The Notebook" musical would probably work out. It's a romance so it'd be more believable for the characters to break out into song as opposed to if it were a murder-mystery or whatever. I'm not that big a fan of The Notebook anyway (I think it's a tad overrated), but I don't think that Joy would ruin it. I honestly don't think that it'll be that successful, though. I'm hoping it is just so that everyone else could see that Joy would do just fine without One Tree Hill, but who knows? And I'm ecstatic that it's going to be Joy who's going to pen/produce the songs for the musical since her music is incredible. She's an amazing singer/songwriter and I can't wait for her to have a full LP album.
Now all she needs to do is get out of the crap show that is One Tree Hill. Yeah, I watch it, and sometimes I enjoy it (especially when I can skip over the crap I could care less about cough:Mouth and Milly:cough), but Joy's talent should be appreciated more than it is in a show where she is merely used as a prop. But that's a whole other discussion.
