Am I the only one who thinks she should play allie in her musical? She's wanted to broadway for song long....it only makes sense she write it, produce it and star in it...
or is it too much for one person?

shareI think Joy is a bit too old to play Allie. I don't know how old Rachel McAdams was when she played her (nor do I care enough to find out), but I think she was younger. As for Joy being on Broadway, I think she'd actually do really great there. But I don't want her to just do Broadway considering the chances of me actually seeing her on Broadway are slim to none and she's about one of the only tv actresses I actually think is talented. So I'm hoping that after she leaves One Tree Hill (or the damn show actually dies), she'll do more tv/movies. Although if I absolutely had to choose between seeing her act and hearing her sing. I'll take singing any day since I love her music.

The reaction has been mixed across the board but at this point nobody knows much about the project itself other than the bare minimum so all that is being thrown around is opinions. At least there are actually people who are willing to give it a chance out there, even if they're not sure how it will work, rather than just dismissing it right away.
