respect for not making up an 'english' name

no peter or jeff or jackie for him. even on posters for his new movie. just a straight up transliteration of his name.

white people will never become familiar with asian names if asians keep changing them to cindy and jessica and jeff.

Well he has a English name, but it's pretty much his name anyways "Brian Lee" so what's the use of using anyways?

After plan B is plan C, and after that, D. “You know how the alphabet works.”

I'm gonna disagree with this sentiment. I lived in Moscow for a little while and have friends in the Russian speaking community in the States. My name has a letter combination that Russian speakers flat out can't say, there's no sound like it in their language. But I don't expect them to change for me. I change the pronunciation of my name when I introduce myself to Russians. It's just easier that way. I guess it's a little different than picking a Russian name, but it's the idea that we have to learn how to say unfamiliar sounds that I disagree with. Easier for one person to change than millions. That's just my perspective on it.
