She's dating Damien Rice! I was so pleasantly surprised. I'm a HUGE Damien Rice fan and I think Melanie's great!

They may have dated at one point, but it didn't last that long -- in August and again in October she made reference to being single. As far as I know, it was always idle gossip.

I thougth they just made an album together here in Ireland, i didn't know they were actually a couple for a while too, that's so sweet!

On wikipedia (not that reliable) it says 2009-Current for her and Damien's relationship.
